DUNDEE FORD CENTRE COMMUNITY ARENA OFFICIALY OPENED!!
We were delighted to unveil the grand opening of the Dundee Ford Centre Community Arena 3G facility at Charlotte Street with a special event on Thursday night.
A facility project that has been on-going for the last 10 years was finally celebrated with some key funders including the Scottish FA, SportScotland, Dundee City Council as well as other key figures coming together to embark on the new pitch.
As part of Dundee West's efforts to provide more opportunities for the local community to benefit from, our audience also included local school head teachers, Councillors and key sporting partners.
The evening consisted of a short presentation from Dundee North West's CSC Chairs person Paul Gibson, and Dundee West's Community Trust Manager Tam McCabe before being concluded with the cutting of the ribbon thanks to the support of Councillor Lynne Short.
We were delighted to be joined by Dundee Ford Centre guests as the local family firm have taken on the naming rights of the new facility to demonstrate their partnership with local grassroot organsations. More details to be announced around the new partnership.
